Secrets Revealed Of How To Learn Telepathy

10 February, 2010 (00:02) | Health | By: Georgia McClough

We human beings can all learn telepathy. Telepathy translates into sensing/transmitting feelings at a distance, and/or doing so without using the five physical senses and without using words. In other words, this is mind-to-mind communication that can often be exchanged instantly even over vast distances.

If you think you can’t learn telepathy, it’s time to reassess things. You may already have had a telepathic experience of some kind, but there’s a good chance you didn’t know that was what was happening. You may not have noticed it at all! One common type is thinking about someone you haven’t thought about or talked to for a long time, then getting a phone call or email from them shortly afterward.

What was going on there is that one or both of you telepathically contacted the other. During that contact, emotions were transmitted, ranging from wonder to affection, and they were received by the other person.

This telepathic contact sparked them to contact you verbally. Maybe you thought of them first, and they received your feelings and were prompted to contact you. Or, maybe they signaled to you, your thoughts of them were return signals (without you realizing it) and that gave them the go-ahead to make further contact. And it could have been that they were preparing to contact you and you telepathically perceived it before they actually did the action.

Many people believe that they can’t learn telepathy for one reason or another. This might be because they have a religious background that teaches them that this kind of contact is evil or sorcerous. In these cases, they don’t try to learn it, and suppress their existing telepathic experiences. Many people have also been told that telepathy is irrational and superstitious, due to the lack of available scientific evidence.

Now, one barrier to people learning telepathy is that there is another myth surrounding telepathy that many who actually use it believe. This is the idea that spoken language is ‘inferior’ and we only learned it because, for some mysterious reasons, our telepathic abilities decayed over millennia. This is just as untrue as the above-mentioned myths. However, there was a time when words and telepathy went hand in hand -like music and lyrics.

In this analogy, the lyrics to a song are spoken language, and the music is telepathic contact. Each is an enhancement of the other. After all, telepathic feelings are rarely well defined – words sharpen and clarify them. This is why we use words in the first place. However, dependence on language can cause people not to communicate in a telepathic fashion, leading to fewer and fewer people using this method of communication.

Are you interested in telepathy now? Want to open up the doors of perception and be closer to other people than you’ve ever been before? Learning telepathy is much easier than it sounds to people who’ve never done it before. Just like everything else, it takes practice.

The first thing you’ll want to do is find an appropriate partner. Try to find someone you’ve been friends with for a long time and who’s also open minded about the possibility of telepathic contact. Look for a person who also really wants to learn how to contact other people’s minds. Positive reinforcement is vital when you’re first starting out.

The next thing you must do is separate from your partner. You don’t have to go far, but you need to be unable to see one another or to give one another conscious or unconscious cues. Relax as much as you can, since tension can really interfere with the process. Clear your mind of stress and concerns. Make sure you have a way of getting in touch with your partner once you’re done – a telephone is an excellent choice.

You’ll want to have an agreement about who will go first. That person will visualize the other person in their mind as clearly as possible, then think about a connection between you. Common imagery involves a light surrounding both people or a thread of energy connecting them.

The next thing to do is to send a thought through that thread or from one light into the other. This is like a web transmission or phone call. Keep it simple to start with and go with the clearest thought possible. Make it something the other person can’t guess without contact, though!

Now, when you feel that this transmission has gone through, contact the other person and ask them if they saw anything. Then, compare notes to see how effective the process was. Once you’re done with this, your partner should try sending to you.

Remember that when you’re just starting out, you should take things slowly. If after a quarter of an hour you can’t transmit, stop and take a break. Early attempts should be brief to keep you from getting tired and frustrated. Negative feelings are bad for your efforts.

If you want to learn telepathy, the most important thing is to keep your mind positive about it, and don’t give up until you start to get results. You’ll be entering into a new and wondrous universe!

Hypnosis – Unraveling The Mysteries Behind It

21 January, 2010 (00:11) | Health | By: Ashley Cox

Myths have always chased hypnosis and its therapeutic offshoot, hypnotherapy. Some believe them to be some type of magic while others hesitate to even acknowledge them. Some of the popular misconceptions linked with hypnosis and the truth behind them are discussed here.

There is no practice of occult involved in hypnosis. It hinges more on the science of psychology and is very easy to practice for anyone who is prepared to learn it. Even people who have observed hypnosis on others mostly refuse to acknowledge it. They say that hypnotised people allow practitioners to be successful in their art by not exhibiting enough will power to block the effect of their words. But this again is a complete distortion of truth. Even mentally strong people can fall under the spell of a specialist hypnosis practitioner.

That hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness is another misconception that has been circulating for quite some time now. An individual under hypnosis does not get shut off from the outside world, but stays completely aware of the goings on around him. Hypnosis actually brings forth a state of absolute calm characterized by a rise in levels of concentration, and this intensified sensitivity helps the subject to receive suggestions without difficulty.

Some scientific findings have claimed that only about 5% of the population is capable of being hypnotized, which is the third misconception on this list. Although, the research has some shred of truth to it, what makes it hollow is the fact that the researchers made use of the same hypnosis procedure for everyone. People differ in their natures and personalities, and hence there have to be different hypnosis techniques to suit the temperaments of different people.

Many people consider hypnosis to be a form of meditation. However, meditation is essentially a personal experience that has got nothing to do with communication, whereas communication is an integral part of any successful hypnosis. Similarly, a state of trance is also sometimes confused with hypnosis, which is not correct. Trance is again a state of mind sans any communication, whereas communication forms the very basis of the hypnosis technique.

It is commonly believed that hypnosis training or hypnotherapy cannot cause changes in appearance or in patterns of conduct of an individual. Hypnosis is clearly not wizardry that it can change the physique of an individual just like that. But by mentally conditioning an individual to abandon addictive habits like overeating and constant smoking, and by raising one’s motivation levels, hypnosis can usher in significant physical alterations in a person and pave the way for a healthier body.

If an individual falls for all the wrong notions that exist regarding hypnotherapy and doesn’t go for a hypnotic session, then he will himself burn the bridge to a better and healthier life.

Such cases are actually incidents of remote viewing.

When it comes time for remote viewing there is basically two different ways it is accomplished. 13 December, 2009 (00:08) | Health | By: Bart Icles

No one wants to have gout. It is one of the most painful forms of arthritis. People acquire this when there is a huge amount of uric acid in the body. No-Rub Miracles

9 December, 2009 (00:15) | Health | By: Myer Thompson

Miracle is a loose term. When you think about it, contact solution is kind of a miracle. Yeah, I said it. It’s a miracle — especially the no-rub business. You just squirt your lenses, cap them, and off you go to slumber land. In terms of the contact care world, the no-rub has been like a revolution. It plays perfectly to our inherent American aversion to time-consuming tasks.

This, of course, runs in the face of most eye care people. They recommend you rub anyway. This is like driving a hybrid that still needs gas to get going. You want to make the complete conversion, but you still have to cave in and do the same old thing. It’s not as bad as all that, but it still is a hassle. The bottle says no-rub.

Of course not every no-rub is created equal. Some have higher concentrations of acid — yeah, you heard me right — than others. How else do you think contact solutions dissolve the protein and pathogens that build up on those flimsy little discs? We’re not talking about hardcore sulfuric acid — this is the light stuff, the stuff that takes hours to break down other stuff.

In Shangri-La you’d never have to clean your lenses. You’d just put them on, and be on with your day. And when night fell and Mr. Sandman was lulling you to sleep you wouldn’t think twice about closing your eyes and dreaming away. Cue the record scratch and camera flash. The reality is you can’t sleep with your lenses in.

If you’ve ever had the groovy sensation of peeling mucus-encrusted lenses from your red eyeballs, it’ll change the way you groove on contact solution. What’s a little rub? At least you don’t have to stand around for a half-hour crushing your lenses between your thumb and index finger. With the no-rub stuff, you can at least keep the rubbing to a minimum and get on with getting on.

To rub or not to rub, that is the contact lens solution question. I know what the bottle says, but do it a bit. A bit rubbing never hurt.

How To Stop Quit Smoking Weight Gain

5 December, 2009 (00:01) | Health | By: Jack Tierman

You have heard all the reasons to quit smoking and you agree; however, you fear the quit smoking weight gain harm will outweigh the benefits of your new healthier lifestyle. Here is some help that may prevent your gaining weight after you quit smoking.

It is typical for a smoker to gain from five to ten pounds after quitting smoking. Most of this weight gain comes within a few months.

There are several reasons that people gain weight when they quit smoking. We will discuss each those reasons and a solution to the problem.

When you were smoking, the cigarettes may have caused your body to burn up to two-hundred calories every day. When you stop, those calories begin to pile up and result in weight gain.

Smoking causes an increase in metabolism. That increase causes the body to burn even more calories. It is like the after burn effect of a good workout. Your body continues to use more energy after a morning run or workout for several hours. Smoking keeps the metabolism up so your body also continues to burn the calories. Unlike the good boost in metabolism from a workout, smoking also increases your blood pressure.

Nicotine suppresses your appetite. Smokers who quit put it this way, “I can taste my food again.” Smoking is like taking a pill that suppresses your appetite. You are not as hungry, so you do not eat as much. This is because when you smoke the nicotine interferes with your bodies insulin release. This results in the body as well as the brain not getting the signals that you are hungry.

Many smokers are accustomed to putting a cigarette to their mouth and replace this habit by putting food in their mouth. This replacement can also lead to weight gain.

One of the most effective ways to prevent stop smoking weight gain is to take a thirty minuet walk every day. Walk briskly. You should find that you are already able to breathe better and you can let the fresh air continue to clear out all of the tobacco gunk from your lungs through the brisk walk.

Be sure that you keep lots of water and good healthy snacks on hand in order to get through the process of stopping smoking.

Even if you gain just a few pounds from quitting smoking, you will still reap many benefits for both you and your family by quitting. If you follow these steps, you can minimize the weight that you gain. It may be possible to quit and not gain any weight if you are careful.

Are you scared that after quit smoking weight gain will be a predicament? Look at http://www.yourstopsmokingplace.com/Quit-Smoking-Right-Now-Review.html to see a quit smoking right now review to put your mind at ease.

Change your workout Routine with This Fat burning Circuit

2 December, 2009 (00:14) | Health | By: Grace Soong

Reach a plateau in your weight loss efforts? It is time to turbo-charge your workouts. Tom Holland, M.S., an exercise physiologist in Darien, Connecticut suggests overloading your muscles to keep them guessing. During this change, work every muscle three or four days in a row. Perform each set with little rest in between.

This fast-paced circuit will eliminate your plateau in no time. Execute 8-12 reps of each exercise. Replicate the circuit three times. Rest for two minutes at the end of each circuit. Pick a dumbbell that will exhaustion your muscle by the 10th or 12th rep.

Pushups – Get on your hands and toes (or knees) on the floor. Hands flat on the ground shoulder-width apart. With fingers facing forward or slightly turned in, lower body toward the ground, elbows flared out just a little. Keep your abs tight and push up until arms are fully extended. Keep your head aligned with your spine. Do not bend from the waist and do not allow your lower back to sag.

Lunges — Stand with hands to your sides and feet together. Step forward with one leg into a lunge. Focus on bringing hips downward rather than pushing them forward, abs tight and your back straight. Lower your body until the front thigh is parallel to the ground. Firmly push off with the other leg and return to starting position. Switch legs and repeat. 8-12 more per leg.

Chest Press on a Swiss ball — Sit on a Swiss ball. Grab a pair of dumbbells on each hand. Walk feet forward until head and shoulders rest on the ball. Keep feet flat on the floor, knees bent 90 degrees. Squeeze glutes and abs tightly throughout the set to stabilize the body. Palms facing forward, bring dumbbells around chest level. Push weights up over chest, and lower to start position.

Squats with Dumbbells – Stand shoulder-width apart, holding a heavy dumbbell on each side with arms hanging straight down. Bend knees until thighs are just past parallel to the floor. Back should be at roughly 45 degrees, eyes looking straight ahead. Extend your legs, straightening back up to return to standing.

Dumbbell rows — Place one knee and one hand on a workout bench, stability ball, or a large chair. Your back should be parallel to the floor. Align head with your spine. With your free hand, lift the dumbbell straight up to your torso. Keep the elbow close to the body and point it slightly toward the ceiling. Concentrate on your back muscles. Hold for 1 second before slowly lowering the weight to a dead hanging position. Switch to the other side after 8-12 reps.

Crunches on stability ball — Sit on a ball then walk your feet forward until the arch of your back rests on the ball. Place your hands on your chest or behind your ears while you tighten abs. Exhale and gradually raise your shoulders towards the ceiling. Lower shoulders, inhale and repeat. Do 15-20 reps.

Lunges, shoulder press and dumbbell curls – With palms facing forward step forward with one leg into a lunge. Follow the instructions above on correct lunge technique. As you drop down, curl the dumbbells to your chest while elbows are glued to your sides. Turn wrists so that palms face forward then push the dumbbells overhead as you return to the starting position. Bring feet together and lower your arms. Repeat, stepping with the other foot forward. 8-12 repetitions per leg.

Mix any of the following exercises to spice up your circuit:

1) Add plyometric drills immediately after an exercise that works the same muscle group. Example, after a set of squats, do 10 squat jumps. Start in the squat position, jump up and extend your arms overhead. Land softly with knees bent and arms swinging behind you.

2) Add 30 seconds of intense cardio, such as jumping rope or high knee lifts between sets of the weighted exercises above. This burns a higher percentage of calories from fat. Go for at least a minute if you do less intense cardio, such as jogging in place.

Here’s 7 Dry Skin Causes (And Treatments).

28 November, 2009 (00:02) | Health | By: Peter Albertonach

Youve got dry skin, but why. What dry skin causes could possibly do that? Dry skin, its quite a scourge especially as you grow older. But what causes dry skin and what can you do about it?

There’s many factors that can cause dry skin, and some are much more common than others.

And you’d be very surprised at how common dry skin is, especially as we grow older, and so there are so many people searching for dry skin treatments. Some dry skin conditions are easy to treat, some not so easy.

And dry skin can be so annoying. Your skin can be flaky and red, painful, swollen full and in many cases extremely itchy.

Normally our skin has it’s own protective layer of natural oils that the skin produces itself. But various causes can result in our skin losing it’s natural oily protection and result in the symptoms I’ve previously mentioned known as dry skin.

So lets have a look at dry skin causes and treatments. Some are easier to treat than others.

1. Long hot baths. So you love a shower or bath that is scalding hot, and love to stay there forever? That can take away natural oils from your skin. A shower is better than a bath, but keep it a little less hot.

2. Skin care products and cosmetics. You might find it hard to believe but many big name skin care products and cosmetics have ingredients in them that are not at all good for your skin. If this is news to you spend a little time on google researching dangerous skin care products and cosmetics.

Many ingredients actually dry our skin. An example is mineral oil. Mineral oil is a petrochemical product (ie derived from crude oil) and damages your skin, but is used because it is cheap.

You are much better using high quality natural skin care products that won’t damage your skin and will help you overcome your dry skin problem much more effectively.

3. Exposure to the sun. Sunburn can easily strip your skin of natural oils. It also damages your skin in other ways, and you should avoid sunburn at all costs. Anywhere, anytime.43. Central heating/air conditioning.

4. Weather. You can get dry skin in places with cold dry winters. But if it is more humid in summer it may go away. What should you do? Use a high quality natural skin care product formulated to retain skin moisture and renew skin moisture.

5. Soaps and detergents. These can dry your skin, particularly modern big name soaps and shampoos. These also contain ingredients that can be damaging to your skin. Avoid soaps that lather a lot and leave your skin feeling squeaky clean. Avoid deodorizing soaps and soaps with anti bacterial ingredients. Use natural soaps with no fragrances or deodorizing and keep changing them till you find the right one for you.

6. Psoriasis, medical conditions, and drugs. Many medical conditions, like psoriasis and eczema, can cause dry skin, and some drugs can too. For specific medical conditions consult your doctor.

7. Believe it or not itchy clothing can cause dry skin. So if your clothing itches junk it.

So, those are 7 dry skin causes, what dry skin treatments are there? Well of course it goes without saying that for medical conditions you ought to see a doctor. But in many cases this isn’t necessary.

I have already suggested some dry skin natural remedies like cooler showers and changing to more natural soaps and shampoos and you may well find that this solved the problem. Natural remedies are often cheaper and easier to achieve, and have no risk to other areas of health.

And finally you should consider using high quality natural skin care products. Natural skin care products don’t contain the dangerous ingredients that the big name skin care products contain. Rather they contain natural ingredients that moisturize very successfully, like Babassu oil from the nut of the Babassu tree, and avocado oil.

But surprisingly, although the ingredients in natural skin care products are more expensive than those in regular anti aging skin care products the products themselves are very cost competitive because the small niche skin care company that makes them doesn’t spend on TV advertising.

So there you have 7 dry skin causes, most of which you should be able to treat yourself, using a combination of your new found knowledge about the causes of dry skin, together with a regime of natural skin care products. Those are the best dry skin care tips we can provide.

Read more about natural skin care at my website.
