Not many people are aware that Hepatitis is actually more infectious that HIV. HIV awareness is extremely high and there are campaigns running all the time to increase this awareness even more. What about Chronic Viral Hepatitis? This disease is more infectious than HIV and kills 1.5 million people a year. There is an estimate 500 million people on the planet that are infected with this disease and a high number of those are not aware that they are in danger or that they are even infected at all. The symptoms of Hepatitis are very similar to that of a severe flu so with low awareness it’s not surprising that this disease spreads like it does.
