Replacing your old tyres is something you should do before they become too dangerous to drive with. It’s easy to check the conditions of your tyres by measuring the tread and looking for marks on the rubber. To measure the tread, put a ruler into the tread, and check with the manufacturers specifications to make sure that you have enough tread remaining on the tyres. While looking for marks on the rubber, feel with your hand for any abnormalities such as nails, cracked rubber, or pieces of the tyre missing. When replacing your tyres, make sure to check your vehicles owners manual for the correct tyres size.
